Shandong Ludao: Optimize Pulp Ash Content Uniformity

Fluctuating ash content is a core hidden index that disturbs the stable performance of finished paper and accurate factory inspection. Ash content mainly comes from inorganic fillers and residual mineral impurities in pulp; uneven ash distribution within single paper sheets and large ash deviation between batches will cause drastic changes in opacity, stiffness, ink absorption and surface friction coefficient. Sheets with excessive local ash content have weak inter-fiber bonding force, prone to surface powder falling and die-cutting burrs; low-ash areas show poor hiding power and severe printing show-through. During factory quality testing, batch ash fluctuation leads to frequent unqualified inspection reports, forcing repeated sampling and delaying delivery schedules. Most paper mills only detect total ash content of finished pulp without regulating micro-scale ash dispersion, and filler settlement and uneven mixing continuously cause ash imbalance in forming sections. Conventional dispersants cannot coordinate organic fiber and inorganic filler mixing state for long cycles.

Shandong Ludao Energy Technology Co., Ltd. launches pulp ash uniformity control solutions. Through composite dispersion and suspension auxiliary technology, we homogenize mineral filler and impurity ash distribution in pulp at micro level, lock stable ash content within standard range for each batch of pulp. The solution eliminates local high/low ash defects on paper sheets, stabilizes optical and mechanical indicators, unifies inspection data of finished products, reduces repeated sampling testing workload, and realizes standardized, inspection-qualified continuous papermaking production.
